Announcement: Garnesy's Gliders 101 (or Garnesy's Gliders for Dummies) is launched!

It's finally here. I know I'm slow to get things done, but this has been a project that has been on my mind for some time. A quick and easy one-stop site for the person who is NOT going to spend hours in front of the computer doing the research they should before bringing a glider into their lives. Every glider owner who has been around for awhile knows that "newbies" should, but that doesn't mean they will. Anyway, what I've tried to do is to get a newby the basic information they need for a "quick safe setup" for their gliders, and access to good quality diet information. I am NOT promoting any one single diet. I simply presented those diets that I am most familiar with and have used in the past, myself. That's it. No diet debates, no drama.

Make no mistake, this is not to be the "end-all be-all of all glider sites," and I know that. However, I think this small site provides the answers a glider newby needs IN THE BEGINNING. They'll bring home a glider, and then think, "OK, now what?.

Garnesy's Gliders 101 (or Garnesy's Gliders for Dummies) is NOT intended to be a replacement for the detailed research that each glider owner should conduct for themselves.

My site is to simply serve as "a stepping stone" to help those glider newbies to begin to develop a long, lasting, happy and healthy lives for their gliders.

Anyway, it's a start, and I've linked plenty of good quality glider sites in one place to help the new glider owner get started with their required research.
