Glider Island
One day my good friend Helen and I had a chat, and one of us said how cool it would be to have a "glider island" – a REAL place – where we could physically meet up in between our periodic glider meetings - but until I win the PowerBall, I can't buy an island, and since I can’t code VRML (which would be "oh so very cool" for a glider community!) I decided to create Glider Island – a place to share glider “tales.”

Dude, we have GOT to change the channel. I swear! We're turning into "Idiocracy" - and CNN is to blame. They are horrible about stating the obvious - as if we, the American public, are all too stupid to think on our own. Thank God they have Jack Cafferty and Lou Dobbs "real men of genius" (to borrow from that beer commercial).
I think just because they are a 24-hour news channel they are under the impression that they have to speak every single second - and lots of times - they just should just "zip it" because they come across as looking just plain silly.
You know, come to think of it, the next time I hear one of their "idiotisms", I'll post 'em here!
