One day my good friend Helen and I had a chat, and one of us said how cool it would be to have a "glider island" – a REAL place – where we could physically meet up in between our periodic glider meetings - but until I win the PowerBall, I can't buy an island, and since I can’t code VRML (which would be "oh so very cool" for a glider community!) I decided to create Glider Island – a place to share glider “tales.”
Congratulations to me! Wow! Just an observation, really, but I just realized this is my 30-day anniversary with my blog! Gliders remind me that there has been another canine invasion into what they say is supposed to be "their" Glider Island. However, we do all peacefully co-exist! Meg... Cady, Colby... stop that fussing!
